DEFINE: Trichomes

Crystallized glands found on the flowers and leaves of marijuana plants that produce cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. The glands look like small mushrooms under a microscope and feel like sticky hairs to the touch.

Examples: bulbous trichomes, capitate sessile trichomes, and capitate-stalked trichomes.

“You know how I can tell this weed has good trichomes? It looks like it’s covered in crystallized hairs and is very sticky.”
