DEFINE: Concentrates

Concentrates are concentrated forms of cannabis.

Using an extraction process, the oils from the cannabis flower are drawn out, resulting in different concentrates. Some concentrates include shatter, wax, crumble, rosin, tinctures, hash oil, capsules, and distillate.

The process of extraction is so refined that people find concentrates to be a “cleaner” high. It takes very little product since most concentrates fall between 80% and 90% pure THC. While many concentrates can be smoked by adding them to flower, most choose to ingest them through edibles or vaporize them with either a cartridge or dab.

How do I use it in a sentence?

“Nothing hits cleaner than a concentrate.”
